Privacy Policy — Jaikin-AI-Tech

Jaikin-AI-Tech is a Chrome extension (Manifest V3) that analyzes the technology stack of a website. This policy transparently describes which data is processed and how.

Principle: everything happens in your browser

The analysis (technologies, schemas, server headers, security, host) is performed locally, in your browser. No data is sent to any server belonging to the extension's publisher.

When the extension acts

The extension only analyzes a page when you click its icon (the activeTab permission). It does not act in the background on the sites you visit.

Data processed

• Active page content (tags, scripts, metadata, HTTP response headers): read locally to produce the report, never transmitted to third parties.
• Domain name of the visited site: sent to Cloudflare via DNS-over-HTTPS (cloudflare-dns.com) to resolve the DNS records shown. Only the domain name is transmitted.
• Session cache: the latest report is kept per tab in the browser's session storage, cleared when the browser closes and invalidated when the page changes.

What the extension does NOT do

• No collection of personal information, credentials, payment methods or location.
• No account, no API key, no tracking cookie, no advertising.
• No resale or sharing of data. No transmission of your page content.

Permissions and reasons

• activeTab, scripting: analyze the active page on your request.
• sidePanel: display the detailed report.
• storage: per-tab session cache.
• cloudflare-dns.com: DNS resolution via DNS-over-HTTPS.
