Ruby on Rails by developers you know by name, in English or Dutch.
A new application, an upgrade to Rails 8.1, or taking over an app whose developer has left. With a fixed price after a written scope or audit.

- No anonymous subcontracting

01
A new Rails application
Rails 8.1 with Hotwire: one codebase, server-rendered, quick to ship. Background jobs, cache and websockets run without extra infrastructure.
Scope first
A document stating what we build, what we don't, and in which order.
In your name
Repository, servers and accounts belong to your company, not to us.
Tests from day one
So that we, or the next developer, can keep building safely.
02
Upgrading to Rails 8.1
Rails 7.2 and older no longer receive security fixes, and Rails 8.0 stops on 7 November 2026. We upgrade step by step to 8.1, one minor version at a time, with the test suite as a safety net.
- An audit first: Rails and Ruby versions, gems, test coverage.
- Adding tests where the risk lies.
- Upgrading and shipping version by version, never all at once.
03
Taking over an existing app
Your developer or agency has left and nobody dares to touch the code. We start with a written audit, then a fixed price.
- Access and ownership sorted: repository, hosting, domains.
- An honest report: what is fine, what is risky, what comes first.
- Then maintenance or new features, with one named contact.
04
Connecting Rails and Odoo
Your company runs on Odoo and your customer portal or app on Rails? We sync customers, orders and stock through Odoo's external API.

Rails FAQ
Do you work in Dutch?
Calls can be in Dutch with Pierre, or in English with Victor. Code and documentation are written in English, as is usual in Rails projects.
Who owns the code?
You do. The repository, servers and accounts are in your company's name.
Our app still runs on Rails 6. Can it be saved?
Usually, yes. After the audit you know what the upgrade costs, and whether rewriting a part would be cheaper. You get it in writing before we start.
Do you work with companies in Belgium?
Yes. Pierre works from Belgium, the rest of the team from France.
